TOPOGRAPHICAL SURVEY
Topographic surveying involves the production of maps and plans which are true to scale. Topographic maps are produced to accurately represent details of both the natural and built environment. They will also include symbols representing features or data too small to produce to scale.

CONSTRUCTION SURVEY
Construction is one of the largest industries in the world. Surveying plays an extremely important role in any construction project. Construction surveying can take many forms. It is used to establish the location and alignment of highways, bridges, buildings, pipes, and other man-made objects. After large-scale projects are completed, an "as-built" survey is performed to locate any modifications that were made to the plans during construction.

MEASURED BUILDING SURVERY
Floor plans and elevations are produced mainly for our architectural and engineering clients. They are used for building redevelopment and structural analysis.

Using reflectorless totalstation and hand held lasers, measurements are observed quickly and accurately. With the horizontal and vertical data from these measurements floor plans and building cross sections are accurately generated.

GPS (Global Positioning System)
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a system of 24 satellites orbiting the Earth in six orbital planes. This orbital configuration provides 24-hour coverage of the Earth for uses in positioning, timing, and navigation.

The system works by having the satellites send precisely timed signals to the earth. GPS receivers use these signals to determine the ranges (distance) to the satellites. Since the positions of the satellites are known at any given time, the position of a GPS receiver can be determined by intersecting the ranges from four different satellites. Understanding this process involves knowledge in the areas of geodesy, statistics, algebra, and linear regression.
